Studying Abroad at Ole Miss

Every semester Ole Miss students leave the small town of Oxford, MS and travel overseas to study abroad. Students are given the opportunity to explore places they’ve only seen on maps. Senior Ali Beston studied abroad last year. The University of Mississippi currently has exchange agreements with more than 60 universities around the world.  This gives students the opportunity to immerse themselves in cultures unfamiliar to their own.

Senior, Katie Jacobson plans to travel to Florence, Italy this summer. Jacobson plans to continue her love for artwork during her travels abroad. She is excited to add a series of art done in Italy to her collection.Since admission is done on a rolling admissions basis, the Study Abroad Office recommends that students apply early, as many programs will be filled to capacity prior to deadlines. Applying can be quite the process.
